Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Ningbo Hugeleaf Gardening Products Co., Ltd. ("HUGELEAF", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://hugeleafgarden.com (the "Site"), and how you can control them.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to gather information about how a site is used.
We also use the term "similar technologies" to cover other tools that store or read information on your device, such as local storage and pixels.
2. The categories we use
Cookies are grouped by what they are for. This is the same grouping you are offered when you choose, and the same one the consent banner shows.
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working — serving pages, remembering this consent decision, and protecting the enquiry form against abuse. They cannot be switched off, and they do not identify you to anyone outside this site.
Examples: Consent preference stored in your browser.
Analytics — only with your consent
Google Analytics 4 records which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived and roughly where in the world they are. We use it to see which products attract interest and where the site loses people. It is never used to identify you personally or to build an advertising profile.
Examples: Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*).
Marketing — only with your consent
These would let us measure the results of advertising campaigns and show relevant ads on other platforms. We do not currently run advertising, so nothing in this category is active today — the option is here so that your choice is already recorded if we do.
Examples: None in use today.
3. What is currently set
- Strictly necessary — the record of your cookie choice, kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. It holds only which categories you allowed and when you decided.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies named _ga and _ga_*. These are set only after you allow the Analytics category. Until then Google Analytics runs with storage denied and writes no analytics cookies.
- Marketing — nothing. We do not run advertising, so no marketing cookies are set even if you allow that category.
Google Analytics also receives a record of whether storage was allowed or denied, so that measurement behaves consistently. That record is not used to identify you.
4. Managing your choices
Where consent is required before anything is stored — the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — a banner asks you on your first visit. Every category except the strictly necessary one starts off, and nothing is stored until you answer.
"Reject all" and "Accept all" are given equal prominence, and you can also choose category by category. Closing the banner without answering leaves everything off.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops analytics cookies being set from that point on. It does not remove cookies already on your device — you can delete those through your browser settings.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting existing cookies and blocking future ones. Blocking all cookies may affect how the Site works. Browser-specific instructions are available from your browser provider.
5. Cookies set by others
Some cookies may be set by third-party services that appear on the Site. Where we use such services, they are described in Section 2 and are only activated with your consent, unless they are strictly necessary.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes, and in particular if we introduce analytics or marketing cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
